هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن معوقات التوظيف الفعال لتكنولوجيا المعلومات في المدارس الأردنية من خلال تحليل تصورات المعلمين في الميدان.
و قد جمعت المعلومات من خلال إجراء مقابلات مفتوحة مع عينة قصدية تكونت من واحد و ستين معلما و معلمة من أفضل مستخدمي تكنولوجيا المعلومات في مدارس المرحلتين الأساسية و الثانوية.
و حللت المقابلات وفقا للنظرية المجذرة المستخدمة في تحليل البيانات النوعية.
و قد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن معوقات التوظيف الفعال لتكنولوجيا المعلومات في المدارس الأردنية تقع في ست مجموعات رئيسة هي : (1) النقص الحاد في أجهزة الحاسوب و التجهيزات المتصلة بتكنولوجيا المعلومات في المدارس، (2) ضعف فعالية برامج تدريب المعلمين في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات، (3) قلة امتلاك طلبة المدارس لمهارات و كفايات تكنولوجيا المعلومات الأساسية، (4) قلة كفاية الوقت اللازم للمعلمين للتخطيط و الإعداد لتوظيف تكنولوجيا المعلومات في التدريس، (5) صعوبة الوصول إلى الأجهزة و المعدات الخاصة بتكنولوجيا المعلومات في المدارس، (6) قلة توافر البرمجيات التعليمية ذات النوعية الجيدة المنتجة محليا.
و في ضوء المعوقات التي أظهرتها نتائج الدراسة، تم تقديم عدة توصيات لمعالجتها.
Abstract EN
The main goal of this qualitative study was to explore perceptions and opinions of a group of in-service teachers to derive barriers to effective information technology integration in Jordanian schools.
Based on the grounded theory analysis of relevant data obtained from open-ended face-to-face interviews with sixty-one exemplary information technology using teachers in basic and secondary schools, six categories of barriers were identified: (1) serious shortage of computers and related information technology equipment in schools,(2) lack of efficiency of information technology teacher training programs, (3) Students' inadequate information technology basic skills, (4) insufficient time for teachers to prepare for information technology curricular integration,(5) lack of access to computers available in schools, and (6) scarcity of locally produced good quality instructional software.
Discussions of such barriers were provided, and concluding reflections and recommendations were made.
