Abstract EN
A new approach for evaluating Ihc reliability of complex series-parallel system models is presented in this work.
The new method evaluates the reliability of system models in the presence of correlation among their components.
This paper merges the binary reliability theory and its applications to coherent systems with the fault tree analysis to predict the safety level of complex systems.
This approach can be used as a powerful tool for predicting accurately the reliability of complex, coherent systems, composed of many correlated components.
