Abstract EN

This paper considers the problem arising in computer networks which has different link types.

In particular each link type has a different capacity and cost (variable and fixed cost).

We present a new algorithm to optimize the transmission delay of that networks, where it uses a fuzzy linear optimization based on genetic algorithms.

The algorithm is applied on an example with different objective values for the transmission delay.

Computational results confirm the efficiency of the proposed algorithm to provid good solutions for the studied computer networks, in comparison with other previous methods.
