Abstract EN

Exchanging sensitive data over computer networks requires high level of security to prevent intruders from acquiring that data.

Consequently, a robust methodology is required to protect that data from being violated.

In order to achieve that goal, this paper presents a Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) level security mechanism that changes the structure of the exchanged packets, uses new protocol identifier and encapsulates MAC addresses in an encrypted form in the packet itself.
