Abstract EN
The optic canals of 156 skulls (from Iraq and Sudan) and 30 head regions of Iraqi cadavers (after opening the cranial cavities and brain removal) were examined for duplication of the optic canal.
This study documented bilateral duplication of the optic canal (one case only) for the first time in the Arab homeland with review of references in this particular rare variation.
