تم زراعة ثلاثة أصناف من حشيشة السودان (GW9IIOG, GW94IOG Sioux) في منطقة وسط وادي الأردن (الأغوار) و في منطقة المفرق خلال الموسم الزراعي 2004.

و قد كان الصنف الأخضر (Sioux) الأعلى إنتاجا (75.3 و 63.9 ط / هـ) في وسط غور الأردن و في المفرق.

كما ظهر اتجاه مماثل في صفة العلف الجاف (11.8 و 8.7 ط / هـ) في كلا الموقعين.

أما في صفة إنتاج البذور فقد تم إنتاج (6.2 و 4.7 ط / هـ) في كلا الموقعين. أظهرت معاملة المسافة بين النباتات (20 سم بين النباتات) في كلا الموقعين إنها كانت الأعلى إنتاجا من العلف الطازج و الجاف و الإنتاج البذري مقارنة بالمسافات (25 سم و 30 سم بين النباتات).

في صفة العلف الآخر بينت كل التداخلات فروقا غير معنوية في منطقة وسط وادي الأردن بينما أظهرت فارقا معنويا كبيرا بالنسبة لـ (GW9110G820 cm) في منطقة المفرق. و قد أظهرت الدراسة نتائج أخرى مفادها أن أقل الأنواع التي يمكن زراعتها في الظروف الملحية في الأردن هو الـ Sioux بمسافات (20 سم بين النباتات) لأنها أعطت أعلى محصول في كلا الموقعين.

Abstract EN

Three Sudan grass varieties (Gw9IIOG, Gw94I0G and Sioux) were planted in Central Jordan Valley (CN) and Mafraq (M) during the season 2004.

Sioux produced the highest fresh yield (75.3 and 63.9t/ha) in Central Jordan Valley (CN) and Mafraq (M).

Similar trend was exhibited in dry yield (11.8 and 8.7 t/ha) in both locations.

In seed production, it produced (6.2 and 4.7 t / ha) in the two locations.

Plant spacing (20 cm between plants) showed the highest fresh dry and seed production compared to plant spacing treatments (25 and 30 cm between plants) in the two locations.

In fresh hay yield, all interactions showed no significant differences in Central Jordan Valley (CN) whereas, (Gw9110G*20 cm) exhibited a significant difference in Mafraq (M).

Regarding dry hay yield the interactions : (Sioux, Gw9110G and Gw9410G * 20, 25) exhibited significant differences to other interactions in both locations.

In the seed yield, (Sioux * 20 cm) showed significant differences to other interactions in both locations.

It can be concluded that, the best variety to be planted under saline conditions in Jordan is Sioux since it produced the highest fresh, dry hay and seed yields in both Central Jordan Valley (CN) and Mafraq (M).

It is recommended to plant Sudan grass under the plant spacing (20 cm between plants) since it produced the highest fresh, dry hay and seed yields in the two locations.
