Abstract EN

Speech is one of the simplest means for communication between people; it starts with the production process in the vocal tract of the speaker and ends with the speech perception process in the ears and the brain converting of the listener.

The paper proposes a simple way for text to speech and how Arabic texts can be transformed into speech waveforms with good quality which is determined by a set of subjective measures.

The paper starts with a brief historical description of different speech synthesis techniques and ends with the experimentation of a dip hone concatenation technique to synthesis Arabic speech.

The paper experimentation proves that we can have an intelligent, natural and good pronounced Arabic speech signal using the dip hone concatenation
