Abstract AR
Abstract EN
Power consumption is a sensitive constraint that affects the behavior and Performance of mobile computing environment.
For this reason, there is a common trend to consider power while developing : any solution for this J environment.
In this study, a scheduling methodology was developed for i executing divisible loads on systems suffering from limited power constraint.
First, the proposed methodology utilized a closed-form assignment technique introduced in the literature to achieve minimum execution finish-time.
In the same manner, it improved the min-to-min heuristic technique introduced in the literature to minimize power consumption ; balance - The amount of power consumed from each processor battery, and minimizes the execution finish-time of the load.
In order to verify the validity of the proposed methodology, a simulation of the execution of divisible load were done in this study and the I results were compared to other existing methodologies.
The proposed methodology shows shorter execution finish-time, smaller power consumption, and more balanced battery consumption.
