Radiation effects on unsteady free convection flow of an incompressible, visco-elastic fluid on a continuously moving vertical plate is reported.
The governing equations are solved numerically using *m implicit finite difference technique.
Numerical results for the details of the velocity and temperature profiles which are shown on graphs have been presented.
A parametric study is performed to illustrate the influence of the radiation and visco-elastic parameters on the velocity and temperature profiles.
Furthermore, the skin friotion and the heat transfer coefficient have been analyzed for various parametric conditions.
It is found that as the thermal radiation parameter increases the skin-friction coefficient increases and the local Nusselt number decreases.
The selected numerical method is validated by comparing the results with analytical solutions.
