Abstract EN

The paper deals with the need of humanity to the concept of prophethood as a consequence of the insufficiency of reason to achieve for mankind in this life and the Hereafter. This research establishes as well for studying the concept as one of the fundamental rational basis of knowledge.

It confirms also that the preference of mankind over other creations from the Quranic perspective is conditioned with the establishment of the vicegerent on earth which is based on both the reason and prophethood. Reason, however has its area and prophethood has its area in dealing with the needs of human life.
