Abstract EN

This paper has discussed the life of Abu Dawd, and the most important Saying that many writers didn’t mention, and applied forms about his book (( The Sunan )).

The study found the following results ; 1- All the scientists have agreed that Abu Dawd was Imam who has achieved the memorizing and dividing them according to the degree of acceptability 2- He was specialized in his book in dividing AL-Hadeeth.

3- The scientists disagreed in the meaning of the word (Salih), some said that it is weak.

4- According to the examples that the writers had chosen, I’ve found that the word (Salih ) means the correct , and what was weak.
