Abstract EN

In this study, numerical solutions of two-dimensional linear and non-linear convection diffusion problem are obtained using the new proposed method that is called alternating direction implicit formulation of the differential quadrature method (ADI-DQM).

It is demonstrated through numerical examples that accurate results for the problem can be obtained using a considerably small number of grid points.

The computed results are compared with other numerical methods.

Comparisons show that the method has high accuracy and efficiency for solving linear and non-linear convection-diffusion problem .
