Abstract EN

The researcher has used descriptive procedure through surveying.

The Physical Education Teachers of basic stages has been chosen to represent research society, if (40) teachers are chosen to stand for building sample and represented (%35.40) in research society, and (12) teachers from schools of the centre of Erbil has been excluded for their contribution of stability of the test.

Then the sample of research in the final form contains (61) teachers to represent final applied sample which represent (%53.99) in research society, after distribution of scales the researcher has got data and the statistic data has been treated through using several statistic means { percentage, medium arithmetic, standard deviation, Weighted arithmetic average, T.Test for independent sample, simple correlation coefficient-person, and Analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA)} and by using (SPSSVersion12) system to obtain the results.

Purpose of the Study: 1- Establishing a scale of Teaching Competency for Physical Education Teachers of base stages in the centre of Kurdistan Region Governorates.

2- To identify to what extend of teaching Competency for the Physical Education Teachers teachers of basic stages have, in the centre of Kurdistan Region Governorates.

3- To identify the differences in terms of sex.

Results and Recommendations; On the basic of the analysis of the data the following conclusion were presented: 1- Possession of teaching competency for the Physical Education teachers in teaching the physical education is higher than the limited percent for hypothetic touchstone which reaches (%75).

2- Higher teaching proficiency of male sport education teachers in the field of (applied efficiency for the lesson, competent scientific and teaching subject, active internal and external competence) than female sport education teachers in Kurdistan Region Governorates.

3- Efficient sport education teachers(Male and Female) in the field of teaching competency (planning competency) and lesson preparation, efficiency for treating students and managing the class, efficiency in using educational methods, and competent evaluation).

4- students and managing the class, efficient scientific and academic subject, efficiency in using educational methods, as well as active internal and external competence).

Recommendations: The researcher recommended the following: 1- A proved a measure teaching skills prepared in this study as a tool in future studies.

2- Inserting teaching competency as independent subject in curriculum of methodology in the Physical Education colleges in Kurdistan region governorates (Erbil,Sulaymania,Duhok).

3- Directorate of Athletic activities and Scouting in cooperation with the deans of sport education colleges open specializing and developing courses concerning teaching competences.
