Abstract AR
Abstract EN
This experiment was conducted on a private fruit nursery at Babylon Governorate the period from the first of March 2008 until 15- Oct- 2008 to study effect of spraying with Acetyl salicylic acid with two concentrations (500, 1000 mg/liter) and the kind of irrigation water as well as the interaction between them.
One –year-old olive plants with uniform size and length were used in this experiment, the field was prepared before planting, the experiment included about 6 treatments with 3 replicates.
Results showed that, the Acetyl salicylic acid with (500, 1000 mg/L) increased the plant tolerance to salt water stress significantly in the average of plant height, number and length of shoots, the fresh and dry weight of the shoots and the roots.
Results also showed a reduction in the all studied parameters when the well water in irrigation used.
