يصف هذا التقرير أساسيات تقنيات مختلفة لتوجيه حزم الإشارة (beamforming) في حيز الزمن و ذلك بإجراء محاكاة باستخدام النظام البرمجي MATLAB.
إذ تم شرح و توضيح ايعازات البرنامج المطلوبة للمحاكاة.
تسمح المحاكاة للمصمم لتقرير قدرة كل موجه من موجهات حزم الإشارة الرقمية بسهولة، قبل تطبيقه بشكل فعلي، كما أن القيود التصميمية و المشاكل الكامنة للمنفين أثناء عملية التنفيذ يمكن أيضا حسابها بسهولة من خلال المحاكاة.
نتائج التحليل و المحاكاة المستخدمة تم عرضها و تحليلها.
كما و قد وضحت المخططات و الخوارزميات التي تم تطبيقها على موجهات حزمة الإشارة (beamformers).
أخيرا, من الممكن تقييم كل نوع من موجهات حزم الإشارة نسبة إلى بعضها البعض, من ناحية الحجم و التعقيد.
Abstract EN
This report describes the fundamentals of various time domain beam forming techniques with simulations in MATLAB.
Details of MATLAB code required for simulation are described, and graphical results illustrated.
Also, various sampling algorithms applicable to beam formers are described in detail.
Simulations permit the designer to easily determine the ability of each digital beam former, before actual VLSI implementation.
Underlying problems and design constraints can also be easily pre-calculated using simulation.
Finally, it is possible to assess each type of beam former, relative to each other, in terms of size and complexity.
