تم اختبار جميع العزلات لامتلاكها نظام السايدروفورات فوجد أن 23 عزلة (76.6 %) أنتجت نظام السايدروفورات من 30 عزلة من الغائط.
Abstract EN
A total of 30 isolates of E.
coli isolated from urine of patients with urinary tract infection were included in the study and 20 fecal isolates of E.
coli, siderophore production was seen in 23 (76.6 %).
In 20 fecal isolates, siderophore production was seen in 1(5 %).
Siderophore production has been shown to be more frequent in E.
coli from patients with UTI, than in fecal isolates.
