Abstract EN

Thoughts of contemporary Islamic thinkers about the Islamic state, particularly after the fall of the Ottoman Empire, have been varied as they are affected by the concepts that prevailed in the western culture.

The concept of the state is one of them.

Before this period, Islamic thought did not discuss the concept of the Islamic state because its interest was focused on the subject of authority.

Accordingly this research will address, first of all, the concept of state that the contemporary Islamic thinkers adopt, and clarify the difference between what is adopted by contemporary Islamic thought and western thinkers and Marxists regarding this concept.

In addition to all the elements of the state, and to what extent they approach the western thought regarding this context.
