يتناول البحث دراسة نظرية لخصائص الإشعاع المنبعث لكل من دليل موجة محوري كهوائي منفرد و هوائي عكسي قصير مثار بهذا الدليل.
أظهرت هذه الدراسة بان أداء الهوائي قيد البحث أفضل مقارنة مع نفس الهوائي عندما يثار بدليل موجة أسطواني.
كانت نتائج البحث متطابقة إلى حد كبير مع النتائج النظرية المنشورة من قبل باحثين آخرين.
Abstract EN
This paper present a study of characteristics of the radiation from a coaxial waveguide as an antenna and a short backfire antenna (SBFA) fed by this coaxial waveguide.
It is shown that the performance of such antenna is preferable in comparison with that fed by a circular waveguide, and a good agreement has been obtained between the predicated results and those reported by other research workers.
