Faced with the current economic and social context, the majority of the industrial enterprises are confronted with the problems of the increase of productivity, the adaptation to the variations of the requests, the respect of the delays and the improvement of the quality.
The performance of a production system is complex and multidimensional.
It must be evaluated globally, over the system cycle.
It integrates not only the concepts of costs, delays, quality, but also of flexibility (ability to change rapidly during the planning and / or modification of the production), of robustness (stable behavior with respect to variations of request and occurrence of risks) and of value (related to customer satisfaction).
The performances evaluation methods can be based either on simulations or on the use of analytical methods.
Our objective in this work is to develop a methodology allowing to model and evaluate the performances of production systems by simulation.
These systems are modeled as hybrid systems using the Hybrid Petri nets.
The method is illustrated via an industrial example : a semolina production unit.
