صممت هذه الدراسة لتقدير الوقت اللازم لاستكمال أوب الرحم بعد الولادة و نشاط النسيج الأصفر في نعاج الفرافرة التي ولدت في الخريف (عدد = 40).
أجريت فحوص بالأشعة فوق الصوتية عبر المستقيم مرتين أسبوعيا بعد الولادة.
تم الكشف عن أوب الرحم و النشاط الأصفري.
و قد بدأ أخذ عينات من الدم مرتين أسبوعيا بداء من اليوم 14 و حتى اليوم 73 بعد الولادة لتحديد تركيزات هرمون البروجسترون.
و كان الفاصل الزمني لإكمال أوب الرحم هو 28.72 ± 1.0 يوم.
كانت نسبة النعاج التي عادت للنشاط المبيضي (وجود جسم أصفر دوري) في غضون 35 يوم بعد الولادة 72.5% من النعاج.
و أظهرت النعاج زيادة في تركيز هرمون البروجسترون أكبر من 1.1 نانو جرام في غضون 22.0 ± 2.5 يوم بعد الولادة.
و أظهرت ثلاثة من أصل ستة نعاج أكثر من دورة واحدة قصيرة خلال فترة الدراسة.
و خلص إلى أن في هذه الدراسة غالبية نعاج الفرافرة كان استعادة أوب الرحم كاملا و النشاط المبيضي في غضون 35 يوما بعد الولادة خلال موسم ولادة أكتوبر في المناطق شبه الاستوائية.
Abstract EN
The study was designed to estimate the time needed for complete uterine involution and postpartum luteal activity in Farafra ewes lambing during autumn (n = 40).
Transrectal ultrasonographic examinations were performed twice weekly after parturition.
Uterine involution and luteal activity were detected ultrasonographically.
Blood sampling (twiCe weekly) was started on d 14 until d 73 postpartum to determine progesterone concentrations.
The mean interval for complete uterine involution was 28.72 ± 1.0 d.
The proportion of ewes that showed the presence of a cyclic CL within 35 d of lambing was 72.5%.
Farafra ewes showed a progesterone concentration greater than 1 ng/ml at 22.0 ± 2.5 d postpartum.
Three out of sis ewes showed more than one short cycle during the observation period.
In this study, it is concluded that the majority of farafra ewes had a complete uterine involution and luteal activity within 35 days post partum during October (lambing season) in the subtropics.
