This study uses analytical and comparative methods to analyze the concept and objectivity of the discipline of comparative religion.

The study is divided into two themes.

The first one deals with the definition of the discipline of comparative religion.

The second deals with issues related to the objectivity of this discipline.

The study concludes with acknowledging the importance of comparative religion, and the need to develop its content and methodology.

However, scholars in this field of study have and will continue to have different understandings of the concept of comparative religion.
