الوحم الخلقي أو علامات الولادة هي لطخات شديدة الصبغة مشتقة من مولدات خلايا الميلانين تحدث عند 1% من المواليد في أي جزء من الجسم.
الوحم الذي يصل حجمه إلى أكبر من 9.9 سم يحدث في 1/20000 حالة من المواليد.
50 % من الوحم ينمو عليه الشعر.
نسبة من الوحم تتحول إلى سرطان مع تقدم عمر الطفل لذلك تتطلب متابعة دورية حيث يتم التدخل عند حدوث أي تسرطن.
و يعتمد خطر التسرطن على حجم الوحمة.
في هذا التقرير نورد حالة لوحمة حجمها 15 سم تغطي أكثر من نصف فروة الرأس غير مصحوبة بأي عيوب خلقية أخرى و هي الآن تحت المتابعة الدورية.
Abstract EN
Congenital nevi or birth marks are hyper pigmented macular lesions that are derivatives of the melanoblasts.
They occur in less than 1 % of the neonates in any site of the body .nevi larger than 9.9 cm in diameter occur in 1 per 20,000 newborns.
50 % have hair on them.
They vary in size, shape, color and texture. They have the propensity to become malignant as the child grows, so, regular follow up should be done to interfere if there is a risk of malignancy.
The risk depends mainly on the size of the nevus.
We report here a giant hairy nevus on the scalp that have a size of about 15 cm and occupied almost half of the scalp surface.
no other associated anomalies were found & the patient is under regular follow up in our clinic.
