المقدمة و الأهداف : لا تعزال هناك تحديات في معالجة الحروق، المضادات الحيوية الموضعية مع غيار الجروح تؤدي إلى تقليل حالات الوفاة بنسبة 50 %.
الدراسة الحالية تهدف إلى تقييم مضاعفات الحروق على المدى الطويل عند المرضى الذين تلقوا العلاج في وحدات الجراحة العامة.
المرضى و الطرق : شملت الدراسة 112 مريض تم علاجهم في مستشفى الخركوم التعليمي و مستشفى سوبا الجامعي (السودان)، و كذلك خلال الفترة يناير 1999-فبراير 2000م.
النتائج : 42 مريض (37.5 %) حدث لديهم ندبات متضخمة، 17 مريض حدث لديهم تفجر في اللون.
7 مرضى حدث لهم تقرحات مزمنة.
و كذلك حدث اكتئاب نفسي لبعض المرضى بدرجات متفاوته من الحدة.
الخلاصة : العلاج التحفظي لمرضى الحروق ينبغي أن يتم في وحدة حروق متخصصة ليشمل الاستئصال المبكر للزوائد و زراعة الجلد و العلاج الطبيعي.
نتائج الدراسة الحالية تشير إلى أهمية إنشاء وحدات حروق متخصصة حتى لا يتم علاج المرضى في وحدات الجراحة العامة.
Abstract EN
Background: Management of burn continues to be a great challenge.
Dressing and topical antibiotics reduce mortality by fifty percent and it is thought to reduce infection rate and retains moisture.
Objectives: patients treated in general surgical units.
classification was used in hypertrophic scars assessment.
The state of depression was assessed using Beck classification of depression for 112 patients treated at Khartoum Teaching Hospital and Soba University Hospital between Jan1999 Results and discusion: 42(37.5%) had hypertrophic scars.
Color changes were seen in 17 patients.
Chronic ulcers were seen in seven patients, in three of them it was Marjolin’s ulcer.
20(28.6% depression.
Conclusion: Conservative management of burns is associated with more wound complications.
