The objectives was to study the common sexually transmitted infections in patients attended the urology clinic at Omdurman Military Hospital in the period August, 2000 to March, 2001.

Forty patients were selected.

The results showed four cases (10 %) of gonorrhea, three cases (7.5 %) of Chlamydia, two cases (5 %) of Candida and one case (2.5 %) of Trichomonas vaginalis.

Five cases of syphilis were associated with gonorrhea.
