The synthesis and characterization of N, N'- bis-(benzoin)-o-phenylene diimine (NNBP) was described.

The behavior of the ligand (NNBP) against some metal ions f > e (II), Fe (IH) > Cr (VI) was studied and its possibilities as an analytical reagent was evaluated.
