Abstract EN

The problem of this research is to establish a criterion derived from the way the subjects veiw the authority and not from the authority entity in the method it adopted to accede to power.

This problem has been treated on the basis of comparative pragatic method so as to solve the main research assumption which revolves on seeking a general framework for establishing a political legitimacy for the Arab political regimes sustained by a set of dogmas that vaiy in meaning, notion and target from one Arab country to another.

The focus of research was Jordan, Egypt and Algeria and other arab regimes.

The researcher dropped the criteria and sources of the political legitimacy promoted by the western perspective and that of the Islamic jurisprudence by using the comparative method.

The validity of the assumption has been substantiated, namely, that sources of political legitimacy for arab regimes are well established though they differ from one country to another in accordance with traditions or leadership or ideology / religious / or political components model.

The researcher concluded that there is a true and substantial trend by all Arab political systems to formulate a legitimacy based on true constititions but with varying degrees.
