She study, initially, included 66 patients with clinical suspicion of celiac disease (03)).
Sonty-fowt (17 males and 27 females) fulfilled the diagnostic otitexia of 03).
She study, xeoealed that the common histopathotogical finding, of duodenal mucosa in 03) was subtotal villous aUophy 22(50%,), while, total villous aUophy was found only in 6(13.6%) of patients.
CUsa, 88.6% of patients had changes of gastric mucosa Hanging pusm superficial gasUitis to intestinal metaplasia, Qastuc intraepithelial lymphocytosis (J££) was found in 12(273%) of patients, and was significantly, associated with both, the degxee of duodenal changes and with JH.
