أكدت الدراسات المهتمة بالأداء اللغوي للأشخاص المصابين بتلف في الشطر الأيمن من الدماغ على اضطراب المستوى السطحي و الدلالي و التنظيمي للغة إلا أن الخصائص اللغوية لم تبحث جملة في هذه المستويات فضلا عن تجاهل كثير من الدراسات عن دور التركيز الذهني في معالجة اللغة على المستوى التعبيري.
المرضى و الطرق : تم دراسة الجوانب التركيبية و التنظيمية للرواية الشفوية لدى الأشخاص ذوي الإصابات الدماغية تحت ظروف متفاوتة من التركيز لمعرفة أثر التشتت الذهني على الأداء اللغوي.
شارك في الدراسة أشخاص أصحاء و آخرون مصابون بتلف في الشطر الأيمن من الدماغ من خمس مستشفيات رئيسية بمدينة الرياض جمعت العينات الكلامية من كل مشارك باستخدام سلسلة مكونة من عشرة بطاقات مصورة.
قام المشاركون باستحداث رواية من البطاقات المصورة بدون و مع مشتتات ذهنية تستخدم نبرات صوتية صافية مستحدثة.
النتائج : تبين في هذه الدراسة أن الأشخاص المصابون بتلف في الشطر الأيمن من الدماغ يستخدمون رواية تحتوي على ضمائر و روابط لغوية غامضة، لا يذكرون المعلومات الأساسية و المغزى من الرواية، فضلا عن قصور في قدراتهم على ترتيب أحداث الرواية بناء على المكومات الأساسية للحدث.
على الرغم من وجود اختلاف في الأداء اللغوي بين المجموعتين المشاركة، إلا أن السرد الروائي كان متشابها من حيث الاستطراد، استخدام التعبيرات اللغوية المركبة، نوع الروابط، و المفردات الدلالية.
أكدت بيانات الدراسة أن تغيير ظروف الأداء الكلامي باستخدام المشتتات الذهنية أدى إلى اضطراب المستوى السطحي للغة على وجه الخصوص.
الخلاص : بينت هذه النتائج أن تلف الشق الأيمن من الدماغ قد يؤدي إلى اضطراب القدرات الروائية و تنظيمها اللغوي و يحدث خلل في القدرة على توزيع مصادر التركيز الذهني الضروري لمعالجة اللغة الروائية على المستوى السطحي و الدلالي و التنظيمي.
Abstract EN
The present investigation was conducted to examine the structure and organization of narrative discourse productions in Saudi individuals with right hemisphere damage and to study the effect of increasing attentional demands on discourse performance.
Two subject groups: the experimental and the control groups were recruited for this study from five major hospitals in the Riyadh metropolitan area.
Subjects narrated a story from a set of 10 sequenced pictures with and without the distraction of a pure tone discrimination task.
Results indicated that the right hemisphere damaged adults produced discourse that contained fewer complete cohesive ties and ambiguous use of references and conjunctions, lacked some of the essential information, contained inaccurate and incomplete main concepts, and often lacked the most important components of story episodes.
However, both groups produced discourse that was comparable in length, complexity, and use of additive conjunctions and lexical markers.
Further, changing the speaking condition negatively interfered mostly with discourse at its microlevel.
These results suggest that damage to the right hemisphere may impair the structure and organization of discourse and interfere with the ability to allocate adequate attentional resources for processing discourse at various levels.
