يعتبر النيومايسين واحد من المواد المضادة للجراثيم, و في هذا البحث تم تقييم النيومايسين من حيث تأثيره المضاد على الفطريات و المضاد لالتصاق خمير المبيضات البيضاء المستوطنة على مادة قاعدة الطقم من الراتنج الاكريلي و المبلمر حراريا, و أعطى نتائج معنوية بالمقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة و مساوية أو مشابهة لتأثير المواد المعروفة مثل الفلو كونازول و الكلورهيكسيدين و تأثيرا أقل من تأثير النستاتين.
Abstract EN
Neomycin sulfate is an antibacterial agent.
In this research, the antifungal and ant adherent effect of neomycin sulfate on Candida albinos that colonize the heat-cured acrylic resin denture base material was evaluated.
The results showed a significant effect compared with the control group.
This effect is similar to the effect of the known antifungal agents (fluconazole and chlor-hexidine) and lesser than (nystatin).
