Abstract EN

This study reviews the major projects for digitized information sources, which lead to design digital libraries in major Francophone national libraries, represented by the French National Library and the National Library of Canada.

It aims also to identify the criteria for selecting sources of information that are available through the Web portals, which represent the output of digitize information sources, as well as accentuation on the fundamental services provided by digital libraries with the attempt to understand future prospects.
