Khreis novel “We” (2008) comes after a number of other novels and collections of short stories.

The novel captures Khreis's perspective on life and the worries women experience while performing their various social roles at various stages of their life.

The elements of narration, including the characters, the setting and bizarre, and fantastic elements collaborate in exploring some of the social flaws that appear when men and women interact with each other.

The novelist, however, does not offer a solution; she only attempts to identify the malady leaving it to us, the readers, sons, and grandchildren to find the remedy.
