English Abstract

In this thesis, some physical applications of fractional calculus are studied.

The concept of fractional calculus to solve the tautochrone problem under arbitrary potentials has been reviewed.

In addition, the Lagrangian and Hamiltonian formulations have been constructed for forced damping systems.

Furthermore, the potential due to electromagnetic force (Lorentz force) is obtained using fractional calculus.
