Abstract EN

The major concern of this study is to highlight the three design criteria , namely , efficiency , effectiveness and appropriateness.

These three criteria constitute the factors that all text designers base their styles on when they produce texts.

The study , in the first part , deals with every criterion separately and examples are provided when required to add and enrich the theoretical part with more clarification .

The second part is dedicated to practical implications in which two original texts with their translations are analyzed in terms of the three design criteria highlighted in the first part of the study.
