English Abstract
In this thesis a study of the magnetic properties for the alloy system (BaFe12-xAlxO19) has been made.
Magnetization measurements were performed in a magnetic field up to 10 kOe.
Aluminum substituted barium ferrite was prepared by ball milling method.
The magnetic behaviour was investigated and compared with that of pure barium ferrite.
It was found that the values of saturation magnetization and remanent magnetization increased with the increasing of annealing temperature up to 1100 °C for both pure and doped samples.
The barium ferrite doped with aluminum samples have much lower saturation magnetization than that of the pure samples.
A significant increase of coercivity was observed in samples doped with aluminum.
Negative values of delta M indicated that the dipolar interactions are predominant of pure barium ferrite samples.
Applied field with positive region between 6 kOe and 10 kOe for barium ferrite doped with aluminum samples associated with inter particle interactions.
