English Abstract
Several generalizations of continuous mappings between topological spaces are investigated.
A new one called sub-open mapping (Definition 3.21) is provided.
Sufficient conditions for each of these generalizations are studied to imply continuity.
In addition, the behavior of several types of almost continuous mappings under some operations are investigated.
Moreover, characterization of almost continuous mappings via semi-regularly topological spaces (Theorem 4.
1.
4), the convergence of nets (Theorem 4.
1.
5) and by preserving connectedness (Theorem 3.
2.
4) are reviewed.
As an application, Baire spaces is characterized via almost continuous mapping.
