English Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of home teaching on the development of preschool children’s vocabularies in AL Qasser district.
The study consists of two groups; experimental and control.
The sample of the study consisted of 40 preschool children whom aged 3 to 4 years old were randomly selected.
The researcher prepared a course jointly with kindergartens and publishers for children, which includes ; the numbers, colors, and words with their pictures, then he distributed the course to the parents of experimental group.
T-tests were used to test if there were any statistical differences between the two groups in terms of their performance.
Means, standard deviations and (ONE WAY ANOVA) were used.
The findings of the study showed that: there was an effect of home teaching on the development of preschool children's vocabularies.
Also there was no effect in the development of preschool children's vocabularies in AL-Qasser district that can be attributed to the parental level of qualifications.
