English Abstract
In this thesis, Some properties and characterizations of metacompact spaces and its generalization submetacompact spaces have been discussed, in terms of closure - preserving, interior - preserving, directed open covers, locally finite and point finite semi - open refinements of open covers and condition Q.(chapter three).
We study also several characterizations of submetacompact spaces using semi - open cover, interior - preserving, directed open cover, Σ- closure - preserving, ة#- space (chapter four) and develop most of the proofs of the stated theorems.
