English Abstract

Architecture has seen several radical transformations in its approaches of form creation during the period after decreasing of interesting with the modern architecture and raising of what be known post-modern architecture)) attached with a lot of studies and theses which are trying to cover many parts of this term, but these studies and these include confusion between ((post-modern as a period within architectural history)) and ((post-modern as a group of design approaches within the term post-modern)) and that make the issue of this research is to remove this confusion and to distinguish among these approaches.

After recognizing two unique directions of form creation which are complexity & contradiction)) and ((decomposition & re-composition)) the consideration at the last direction become the issue of this research as an approach of form creation to be its general problem, while trying to get a clear theoretical frame of employing this direction as a strategy to create form is the target of it.

The strategy of ((decomposition & re-composition)) in form creation is a main strategy includes many sub-strategies like superimposition thus employing this concept as a strategy of ((decomposition & decomposition)) or ((decomposition which include re-composition)) will represent the special problem of this research, while building a clear theoretical frame for the employment will be the special target of it.

The theoretical frame of this research with its two dimensions –the general dimension which deals with the strategy known (decomposition & re-composition) and the special one which deals with employing the superimposition as an image of this strategy ,it's mechanisms and it's procedures- has been shown and applied to a group of projects and observing the results.

This research has many results either concern with applying the theoretical frame or concern with ultimate of the research and it include many recommendations.
