English Abstract

The research in this thesis presents one of important application in virtual reality.

It is CAVE System.

Virtual reality is technology of the most important techniques that reached byte revolution technological enormous in the last decades of the twentieth century and had a great influence in various fields of life, especially in the field of architecture through evolution to the level of technology that contribute to show the product architecture and awareness, evolution of Technology Virtual Reality and techniques had been adopted on how to understand the third dimension of space and feel so it was necessary to demonstrate the influence of this development taking place at the level of individual awareness of space and the feeling of being part of it.

Hence the problem had been recognized public research to the (lack of clarity over the impact of the development of virtual reality applications in the cognitive impairment of the recipient) and the special problem, which were represented by (lack of knowledge in the practical aspects of techniques of virtual reality within the cave and its impact on awareness of the recipient at the local level) has considered this search An Empirical Study of the key technique of virtual reality is a technique (the cave) to demonstrate the impact of cognitive developments of technological developments in the world of virtual reality and represent that the goal of research, The research hypothesis was built on the (difference in the process of realizing the recipient of the space evolution of technologies and applications used in the representation of space.

To achieve this, research was in its approach to Develop comprehensive theoretical framework is the presentation of the most important factors affecting the awareness of the recipient and the most important perceived characteristics of space and to identify the main items that affect the process of cognition and the most important cognitive characteristics of space.

To study the process through to the experience of the establishment of a virtual environment using the cave system technology and application of an integrated architectural project was designed by the researcher in the Department of Architecture-University of Technology.

Was the use of a set of tools, equipment and software adopted by the researcher to complete the practical procedures of the study was applied and the devices (computer monitors, projectors, as well as making wooden structure is installed it by using display screens Felix optical material through which the project was presented on the structure formed The software Vcmmelt Programme (the 3DMAX), which was used in the formulation of the project architect, who introduced him practical experience in addition to a range of editing software and show of (b Adobe Primmer, Adobe Reflection, Upload Media Editior, Realplayer) and these programs help to show the project to the final form that showed the and display screens on the cave system and then subsequently shown on a computer screen to complete the normal process of the questionnaire.

Carry out the questionnaire from the questions which have been drawn from the theoretical framework and application of technology and virtual reality system (Cave) once and technical computer screen normal again, a comparison between the results of both technologies through the analysis of the results.

In order to determine the efficiency of virtual reality.

The research conclusions and recommendations, which included two axes: the first axis includes conclusions as to the theoretical framework the second axis includes conclusions as to the empirical study of practical experience that showed the progress the level of awareness the adoption of the technology system of the cave compared screen technology and traditional computer through the achievement of technical system Cave ratios higher than those achieved using the traditional computer screen, and this indicates that the recipient had been able to accommodate the space in a better system technology cave.
