English Abstract

Information technology (IT) outsourcing has become significant to turn your back on, or to hand over.

The goals remain impervious firstly creating economic value, secondly controlling exposure and strategic risks, but the extent of gains and risks have become massive.

Setting strategy for outsourcing is mainly a leadership not a technical issue, and therefore, now falls mainly within executive's level of expertise and experience.

Managing outsourcing is principally about forming a new strategy, based on economic objectives, communicating those objectives within and between firms, and managing psychology and expectations when the high economic stakes cause communications to break down.

Successfully managing expectations and maintaining effective communications leads to trust, which, we have seen, produces great and measurable economic benefits in strategic sourcing relationships.

In this research, we investigate and examine the role of Vendor Relationship Management according to risks management to enhance the organizational knowledge creation and organization innovativeness.

This research starts with having in mind the relation between vendor relationship management and risk management in Jordan government, which is the core hypothesis of this research.

A survey design and analysis was adopted as the method that guides the data collection and analysis to establish the existence and importance of the relationships among the enablers of knowledge creation in the government of Jordan.

The main hypotheses of this research are that : The relationship between vendor selection management and its characteristics like vendor selection, vendor evaluation (revenues of resources), and internal risks, and external risks according to (quality and stability).

The overall results of the empirical investigation did support the general framework, presented in the research model.

Using confirmatory factor analysis, the user satisfaction hypotheses developed for this thesis was tested and the model were also verified.

Finally, the empirical results of this research show that the behavior of decision-making process for make–buy evaluation is really having a clear picture, with certain factors having greater influence under specific conditions.

Vendor Relationship Management (VRM) success was investigated throughout this research and a number of compelling results were identified.

The subjects of VRM success are important to the IT industry and will having much debate for duration of having VRM relationship going on.
