English Abstract

Steganography is the art of information hiding in ways that prevent its A message in cipher text may raise suspicion while an invisible will not.

Digital steganography uses a host data or message, known as a Detection message "trainer" to hide another data or message called "secret" in it an audio in audio steganography system had been proposed in this thesis red to embed a secret audio data in another audio data.

Two embedding ethos are implemented in the proposed system (Fourth Bit Insertion in time domain and 1 lair Quantization in wavelet transform domain).

The first method (Fourth Bit Insertion) is implemented in time domain where the secret data is embedded directly in the cover data, and the second method (Haar Quantization) is implemented in frequency domain that results from using wavelet transform (Haar wavelet) where the secret data are embedded in wavelet transform (WT) coefficients of cover data.

All of the fidelity measures (Mean Square Error, Signal to Noise ratio, and Peak Signal to Noise ratio) obtained in the tests have indicated good results for PSNR.

The reconstructed data is exactly the same as secret data if the Fourth Bit Insertion method is used while a small unrecognizable error may do when the Haar quantization method is used).
