English Abstract
The spectroscopic analysis of NC+ has been performed utilizing the standard Judd-Felt (J-O) theory to calculate the spectroscopic parameters concerning different types of Nd : Glass laser media samples, such as the effect of the active ion doping percentage and the host material variation.
The three phenomenological intensity parameters (Q (t)) for (Silicate (Lj), Borate (L2), Borate (L3)) were found to be (Q2 = L2, Q4 = 16.1, Q6 = 8.64), (Q2 = 0.13, Q4 =16.31, Q6 = L18), (Q2 = 0.84, Q4 =11.42, Q6 = 4.92) respectively, where (Q (t}*l (T20cm2).
These values are higher than those reported for other Nds+ based laser crystals.
After the determination of the best set of intensity parameters (Q (t) by using the standard least-square fitting, the values of radioactive transition probability (Arad) radioactive lifetime (rcrad) and emission branching ratio coefficient (P r) have been determined for the major excited state.
The measured and calculated for absorption line strength values ED {m), ED (ab)) and absorption oscillator strength (f (at)> Ied)) respectively were determined and by comparing between each two values one can notice a great coincidence between them, This work focused on the absorption bands at (530, 810nm) wavelengths for the active medium, which coincidence with the admission spectrum of the diode laser which commonly used to pump the solid state laser
