English Abstract

The proposed system Watermarking System for Animation 3D Models (WSA3DM) is applied to embedding robust and invisible watermark into animation 3D models from VRML type.

The watermark represents information identifying the original owner of the model for copyright protection purposes.

The WSA3DM consists of three main modules, which are: embedding module, extracting module, view and compare module.

The embedding module embeds the watermark into animation ^D module.

The embedding algorithm is done by applying small changes imperceptibly into animation parameters.

The changes seem random but correlate with a secret pseudo random key.

The extracting module retrievals the watermark message from animation 3D model after checking the authorization of the secret key.

Coupled with the embedding and extracting, the WAS3DM views the 3D models before and after embedding to compare them from visual quality side.

The WAS3DM can be classified as a public system, since it requires only the watermarked model and the secret key to extract the watermarking message.

The main goal of the watermarking is fulfilled, since the watermarked animation 3D model is visually similar to the original, and the watermark is immune to a number of geometric attacks.
