English Abstract

With the explosive growing reliance on electronic mail for every conceivable purpose, there is growing demand for authentication and integrity services.

This work presents the development of a security services program called privacy electronic mail enhancements system (PEME) that supports the services of authentications, integrity, and confidentiality, nonrepudiation of origins, replay attack preventions, duplicate message detection for the sent or received email message.

These services apply to the sent message through a modified message format to carry out them and the developed algorithm to implement them.

Also secure and simple key management system consists of key exchange process and automatic key revocation process with the ability to generate keys and store them in a special protected database, also these services is provided by develop a new key exchange and revoke messages format with the necessary developed algorithm to apply them.

These capabilities can be achieved by using cryptographic algorithms including conventional encryption algorithms to provide confidentiality and public key cryptography system to provide authentication and nonrepudiation, one way hash function to provide integrity.

The resulting proposed system achieves the implementations goals , where the test results matches the implementations goals, sends and receives more than one PEME English text message using current Email Program like Yahoo and other existing email program resulting in sending the message successfully and receiving it with the ability to verify it and recover text message correctly.
