English Abstract
Data security in computers networks is becoming increasingly important outing to the expanding role of distributed computation, distributed databases, and telecommunications applications such as electronic mail and electronic funds transfer. A computer network is secure if it adequately protects information that it processes against modification, and an authorized withholding (also called denial of services), A secure computer network is multilevel secure if it protects information of different classification from users with different clearances ; thus some users are not cleared for all of the information that the system network processes. This thesis concentrates on the studying and analyzing of multilevel security in computer networks, which is supported by a simulation of a simple model of a computer network dealt with different security levels.
A number of security models also have been illustrated both to describe the protection that a computer network actually provides and to define the security rules it is required to enforce (these rules are refereed to security policy).
The simulation is done using Pentium Computer and the programming language turbo Fiscal Version 6.0.
