English Abstract
Iet G (7 be finite group, the Artin exponent of G denoted by A(G) and can be defined as the smallest natural number m such that For q a prime divisor of order of G, Aq (G) is the q-part of A(G), In this thesis, we have showed that Aq (Sp) = Aq (Sp-1) A q / G where p is a prime p > 7 This thesis also includes an efficient computer program for calculating A (Sn) in genera.
