English Abstract

This study aimed at measuring the impact of intellectual capital elements on the business performance in the Jordanian IT organizations, through discovering the reality of practicing each of the Human Capital, Structural Capital and the Relational Capital in the Jordanian IT organizations.

To achieve the aims of the study the researcher built a questionnaire that included four sections, each section consisted of a number of items.

The first section is the demographic characteristics and it consists of five variables, the second section titled in Human Capital and consists of (14) items, the third section titled in Structural Capital and consists of (15) items, whereas the fourth section titled in Relational Capital and consists of (15) items.

The study population consisted of all employees in the Information Technology organizations in Amman.

And the sample of the study were selected randomly to consist of (239) employees chosen from (88) organizations.

The results of the study showed that there is a significant statistical impact at the level (α < 0.05) of the Human capital in IT organizations in Jordan.

And there is a significant statistical impact at the level (α < 0.05) of the structural capital in IT organizations in Jordan.

Moreover, there is a significant statistical impact at the level (α < 0.05) of the relational capital in IT organizations in Jordan.

Based on the results, the researcher recommended at the importance of spreading the awareness to deepen the intellectual contexts of the concept of intellectual capital among the employees in the Jordanian IT Organizations.

As well as the importance of grading incentives and rewards to the workers and the specialized technical personnel who have practical initiatives, as well as providing technological facilities to increase the level of job stability.
