English Abstract

In this work the magnetic behavior of two Sm-Co based systems were studied, the first system is (Semi x Gd x) C05, and the second one is Sm (Fe x Coi x) 5-In the (Smix Gd x) C05 system we studied the effect of Gd substitution at different Gd contents ; we found that coercively increases at higher Gd contents in comparison with the base alloy (Sm Cos) coercively, but saturation magnetization and eminence decreases for all the studied samples.

In Sm (Fe x Coi x) 5 system we studied the effect of Fe substitution at different Fe contents, we found that coercively increases at higher Fe contents in comparison with the base alloy coercively, but saturation magnetization and remanence decreases for all the studied samples.

Two magnetization orientations were studied, the parallel direction to the surface direction, and the perpendicular direction.

We found that the easy magnetization direction for both systems is the parallel direction.
