English Abstract
In the era of globalization, major market changes occur.
Firstly, markets become more open which leads to the establishment of multinational corporations (MNCs).
These MNCs make the data to be processed quite huge, which creates the need for methods other than manual data processing.
One of these alternatives is electronic data processing EDP that integrates the work of departments of the firm.
These integrated systems are now known as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
This study explores the effect of ERP System on the usefulness of accounting information in Saudi Arabia, and concludes that ERP System has positively effects on the usefulness of accounting information (Relevancy, Reliability, Uniformity, Availability and Comparability).
