English Abstract

In this thesis, Algorithms for the evaluation of the equilibrium storage distribution in finite and infinite reservoirs were given.

We considered two types of inflows ; The inflows were independent and identically distributed random variables.

And the inflows were Markova.

The release was constant and greater than or equal one unit.

It appears that the difference equation technique is the best method for evaluating the stationary storage distribution.
